yay! local production goes on
iron block conversions

Culture cliff note
Motor production ceased at GMH Dandenong plant five years ago. Thus I interpret this pot stand, discovered in the carpark of a cheap apartment block in ‘Dandy’, as a floral tribute to a deceased industry.

As usual, double meanings abound.
